Kastanis named CEO at Temple University Hospital
Temple University Hospital named John Kastanis, its interim chief executive, to be president and CEO. Kastanis was appointed the hospital's interim CEO in December after Sandra Gomberg stepped down from the role.
Kastanis, whose appointment is effective immediately, has worked previously as an interim CEO and as president and CEO of the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York. In his new role, Kastanis will oversee the hospital's strategic direction, operations and finances, according to a news release.
